The insecticidal and bactericidal composition employs dinotefuran and kresoxim-methyl as main effective components, wherein a weight ratio of dinotefuran to kresoxim-methyl is 0.1-85 : 0.5-85. The insecticidal and bactericidal composition can produce a relatively high synergistic interaction effect, is particularly suitable for preventing crop pests and diseases caused by various fungi. Besides, the usage amount of the mixture is significantly reduced than that of a single effective compound. Pesticide dosage is reduced in a real application, and pesticide cost is further reduced. The composition can prevent hemiptera pests, lepidoptera pests, coleoptera pests and fungous diseases which are generated on the crops, is particularly suitable for preventing rice planthopper, leafhopper, aphid, stinkbug, aleyrodid, powdery mildew, rust disease, epidemic disease, rice blast and the like, and has an effect obviously higher than that of a single dosage.
