Abstract

The invention provides a technology for preparing natural gas from synthetic gas. The methanation technology mainly comprises steps of: synthetic gas fine-desulfurization, multistage methanation reaction, multistage heat recovery, product gas dehydration and catalyst reduction and passivation. A purified synthetic gas enters a multistage(multilevel) fixed bed reactor filled with a methanation catalyst, the concentration of CO in a product gas is reduced to ppm level, and the concentration of methane reaches more than 95%; the product gas undergoes triglycol or pressure swing adsorption to be dehydrated, thus meeting pipeline-transportation standards; and as for the step of multistage heat recovery, heat released from the methanation reaction process undergoes multistage heat exchange to obtain a high-grade by-product of superheated or saturated steam.
