Problems solved by technology

However, there are still no fast and accurate test methods at home and abroad to detect the real content of this type of modifier, which seriously hinders the requirements for the authenticity, objectivity and measurement of construction quality in project management.
Although it has been reported to detect by infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, gel permeation chromatography and Brookfield rotational viscosity method, the detection accuracy is not high or the detection cost is too high
Invention patents CN201010273873 and CN201110380753 proposed to detect the content of SBR in SBR modified asphalt by using the method of chemical titration and using the starch indicator (turning blue when it meets iodine). Quantitative analysis of the bonded compound solution is a good choice, but for asphalt, which has a deep color, and precipitation may occur during the titration process, which becomes an obstacle to the judgment of the titration end point, thus affecting the accuracy of the detection

Abstract

The invention discloses a detection method for the addition amount of a modifier in modified asphalt based on dead-stop titration. The method comprises the following steps: preparing a modified asphalt solution with a known addition amount of the modifier and a to-be-measured modified asphalt solution with an unknown addition amount of the modifier; adding an addition reagent with an unsaturated bond for treatment; then adding a potassium iodide solution for treatment; carrying out oxidation-reduction titration by using a sodium hyposulfite solution and determining the volume of a consumed sodium hyposulfite solution through dead-stop titration; drafting a standard curve of the volume of a consumed sodium hyposulfite solution and the addition amount by using the modified asphalt solution with the known addition amount of the modifier; and calculating the addition amount of the modifier in the to-be-measured modified asphalt solution by using the standard curve of the volume of the consumed sodium hyposulfite solution and the addition amount. The method provided by the invention can effectively overcome influence of a deep-color background of asphalt and depositions generated in the process of titration on conventional titrimetric analysis, rapidly and accurately detect the addition amount of the modifier in modified asphalt and guarantee controlling of production and processing quality of modified asphalt.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for determining the amount of an asphalt modifier incorporated based on permanent stop titration. Background technique [0002] Ordinary road traffic asphalt has a wide molecular weight distribution, and its composition and structure determine that asphalt is easy to soften at high temperature and brittle at low temperature, which is difficult to meet the requirements of modern traffic. Polymer-modified asphalt is to add some polymers to the asphalt, and the polymer is uniformly dispersed in the asphalt by shearing, stirring, etc. to form an asphalt-polymer blend material. The good physical and chemical properties of the polymer are used to Make up for the defects of asphalt itself, thereby improving the road performance of asphalt materials, and improving the service level and service life of asphalt pavement. Styrene-butadiene-styrene block rubber (SBS) and styrene-butadiene rubber (styrene-butadiene rubber, SBR) an...
