The preparation method of the convenient wonton comprises the following steps of (1) preparing dough; (2) preparing the wonton wrapper; (3) wrapping the wonton; (4) steaming; (5) drying; and (6) packaging. The convenient wonton has the characteristics of fast rehydration, low broken rate and the like, is not gelatinized by immersing for a long time, and tastes pliable. Besides, the raw materials of the wonton wrapper comprise the Chinese yam.
