The method includes steps of acquiring fresh stems of the dendrobium and naturally drying the fresh stems until the fresh stems are in semi-dehydration states; refrigerating the preprocessed fresh stems of the dendrobium at a low temperature for longer than one day; transferring the refrigerated fresh stems of the dendrobium in dark environments for a plurality of days; shifting the processed fresh stems out of the dark environments and placing the processed fresh stems in seedling sieves; placing the seedling sieves in constant-temperature and shaded environments with the light intensity of 15000-20000lux. Moist substrates are laid in the seedling sieves in a covering manner. The method for proliferating and propagating the dendrobium has the advantages that as verified by comparison, the total sprouting percentage of the dendrobium proliferated and propagated by the method reaches about 70%; the stems of the dendrobium can be directly proliferated and propagated by the method to obtain production seedlings, accordingly, proliferation and propagation procedures are simple, the invested production cost is extremely low, the production time is shorter than 140 days, the production efficiency is greatly improved, and the production cost and the production time are saved; the cultivation survival rate is high, and the method is suitable for large-scale production.
