Abstract

The invention discloses an oil-expansion flame retardant which is prepared from 15-40 parts of a flame retardant and 10-20 parts of filling oil. The invention also discloses a super-soft halogen-free flame-retarded ethylene propylene terpolymer cable material. The aim of improving the softness is fulfilled by adding an elastomer into the propylene terpolymer cable material, and the oil-expansion flame retardant replaces the conventional inorganic flame retardant, so that a good flame-retarded effect can be achieved; meanwhile, by adding modified resin and a surfactant, the processing property of the cable material is improved. The oil-expansion flame retardant comprises the following components in parts by weight: 15-40 parts of the flame retardant and 10-20 parts of the filling oil; the super-soft halogen-free flame-retarded ethylene propylene terpolymer cable material prepared from the oil-expansion flame retardan comprises the following components in parts by mass: 100 parts of propylene terpolymer, 10-30 parts of the elastomer, 15-40 parts of the flame retardant, 10-20 parts of the filling oil, 10-20 parts of modified resin and 1-3 parts of the surfactant.
