The porous capsule is prepared by the following steps: adding bentonite which serves as a raw material and an aroma improver in de-ionized water, heating and stirring, and centrifugally drying to prepare organic bentonite which is relatively strong in adsorption on organic molecules; and adding the organic bentonite to a sodium alginate solution, uniformly stirring and dropping into a CaCl2 solution to obtain the essence sustained-release porous capsule which serves as an essence sustained-release preparation. The sustained-release preparation prepared by the method has relatively strong adsorption on essence effective ingredients constituted by the organic molecules, and can delay a volatilizing speed of essence; moreover, the preparation method is simple, low in cost and good in economic benefit, and can be well put into large-scale production.
