Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: by adopting coconut oil acyl propyl dimethyl tertiary amine as a raw material, reacting with epoxy chloropropane to obtain an intermediate in an alcohols solvent; and continuing to react with a dimethylamine aqueous solution and sodium chloroacetate, so as to obtain the amphoteric betaine asphalt emulsifier. The asphalt emulsifier is easily available in synthetic raw material, low in production cost, simple in process, and free of high-temperature reaction.
