Abstract

The invention discloses a system for treatment of wetland-produced electricity from domestic sewage and electrochemical disinfection of wetland effluent. The system comprises a microbial fuel cell wetland main body and an electrochemical disinfection tank, wherein a packing, an anode, a packing, a cathode and a wetland plant are sequentially arranged on the microbial fuel cell wetland main body from bottom to top; the effluent of the microbial fuel cell wetland main body flows into the electrochemical disinfection tank through a water pipe; and an anode and a cathode are arranged inside the electrochemical disinfection tank, and are respectively connected with the cathode and the anode in the microbial fuel cell wetland main body by virtue of leads, so as to form an intact closed loop and generate current. The system is applied to electrochemical disinfection of the effluent after microbial fuel cell wetland treatment. By adopting the system, the problems of high disinfection cost of the wetland effluent and complicated maintenance operation are solved, the safety of the wetland effluent is effectively improved, and the system is especially applicable to disinfection of artificial wetland effluent for treating rural domestic sewage.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of energy and environment engineering, and relates to a sewage treatment method for electrochemical disinfection of microbial fuel cell type wetland effluent. Background technique [0002] Constructed wetlands are artificially constructed and regulated wetland systems that treat sewage through an optimized combination of physical, chemical and biological actions in the ecosystem. Constructed wetlands are generally composed of artificial substrates and aquatic plants growing on them, forming a substrate-plant-microbe ecosystem. When sewage passes through the system, pollutants and nutrients are absorbed, transformed or decomposed by the system, thereby purifying the water body. [0003] Microbial fuel cells use bacteria on the anode (or in the anode chamber) as catalysts to convert chemical energy directly into electrical energy. The principle is that the electrons generated by bacteria degrading organic ma...
