Abstract

The invention discloses a casting production process of a large mold steel roughing roll. The casting production process comprises the following steps: (1) a casting process is designed; (2) impurity elements are removed; (3) the casting is performed; and the heating is performed by using electrode energy submerged arc; (4) when the rolling temperature is 500-600 DEG C, a box is opened to anneal; the temperature is kept through four sets of heating platforms; after the temperature is constant, a furnace is discharged to roughly open a hole pattern; the procedures of normalizing, tempering and quenching are performed for processing in sequence; and finally, the hole pattern is finely opened; and (5) a blank roll is discharged from the furnace after the heat treatment is finished; when the blank roll is cooled to the normal temperature, 3-5 points on the roll body are taken by a hammer for beating; and the residual casting stress is eliminated by generated infrasonic wave. The mold steel roughing roll produced by the casting production process has better matrix structure, tensile strength, impact toughness, heat crack resistance and wear resistance compared with a forged steel roll; and the casting production process saves energy and materials, is environment-friendly, satisfies the requirements of replacement of forging by casting, energy conservation, environmental protection, material saving and cost reduction in national industry policies, and accords with the industry policy of upgrading and updating of products.
