Abstract

The invention discloses a production method of a rubber accelerator MBT. The production method comprises the following steps: sequentially adding a certain amount of sulfur and carbon disulfide into a sulfur dissolving kettle with water seal, preparing a sulfur liquid for later use, pressing aniline and the sulfur liquid into a high-pressure kettle by virtue of compressed air, producing a crude MBT by virtue of high temperature and high pressure, dissolving the crude accelerator MBT into a sodium salt by virtue of NaOH, carrying out air oxidation, adding dilute acid to regulate a pH value, separating out resinous impurities, filtering to obtain the pure sodium salt, neutralizing with dilute acid until the pure sodium salt is weakly acidic, converting the pure sodium salt to a finished accelerator MBT, washing to enable the finished accelerator MBT to be neutral, drying by shaking, dewatering, and carrying out pneumatic drying to obtain the accelerator MBT. The production method has the beneficial effects that the yield and the purity of the accelerator MBT can be effectively increased, the quality of product is improved, and thus the quality of rubber product, produced by using the accelerator is improved.
