Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a solid-state efficient flocculant by using coal ash as a raw material. By using the coal ash as the raw material, solid-state efficient flocculant aluminum polychloride [Al13(OH)24(H2O)24C115.13H2O] (short for P-Al13) crystal is prepared through an intermediate product AlO(OH). The method comprises the following steps: enabling the aluminum form in the coal ash into acidic leaching liquid through high-temperature solid phase reaction and acid leaching reaction; then preparing AlO(OH) by a NaOH direct precipitation method or a method of firstly preparing sodium metaaluminate and then regulating the pH value by adding hydrochloric acid; carrying out hydrolysis-polymerization reaction on AlO(OH) and hydrochloric acid at 90 DEG C above and normal pressure condition to a certain degree of alkalization; crystallizing naturally at low temperature to separate out P-Al13 product; and combining the remained mother liquor and acidic leaching liquid for recycling to realize zero discharge.
