Problems solved by technology

However, there is still no comprehensive utilization of chromium, aluminum, titanium, zirconium and silicon for leather tanning.
Therefore, the current leather tanning methods do not give full play to the comprehensive advantages of the above-mentioned tanning materials, and the obtained products are still unsatisfactory in terms of physical, chemical and biological indicators and the appearance of finished products.

Abstract

The invention relates to an animal leather tanning method. The animal leather tanning method is characterized by comprising the following steps: firstly, adding 200-300kg of water into 100kg of naked leather with the pH value of 1.0-2.0, adding 0.15-0.20kg of aluminium sulphate and 1.2-1.6kg of sodium chloride while a rotating speed of a revolving drum with the diameter of 2m is 8-10rpm, and rotating for 3-4 hours; secondly, adding 1.5-2.5kg of sodium silicate and 0.8-1kg of hydrochloric acid, and rotating for 4-6 hours; thirdly, adding 0.1-0.15kg of titanyl sulphate ammonium salt and 0.2-0.4kg of sodium zirconyl sulphate, and rotating for 4-6 hours; fourthly, adding 0.2-0.25kg of red vitriol, and rotating for 5-8 hours; fifthly, adding 0.1-0.5kg of sodium bicarbonate, and rotating for 3-5 hours; and sixthly, taking leather out from the revolving drum, stacking and ageing for 24-48 hours.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for tanning animal leather. Background technique [0002] Chrome tanning agent has the best overall performance, so it is widely used in the field of animal leather leather at home and abroad. Its main disadvantages are high toxicity and heavy pollution. [0003] The content of silicon salt in the earth's crust is extremely rich, and it is non-toxic, which is inferior to other inorganic salt tanning materials. However, silicon tanned leather alone is not resistant to storage, and the leather becomes hard and brittle during storage. As a tanning material, titanium salt has the advantages of light fastness, washing resistance, and storage resistance. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to prepare tanning solution separately. As a tanning material, zirconium salt has good filling properties, but it is not easy to penetrate into the bare hide. The leather tanned with aluminum tanning material has fine hair and less ...
