The weather-proof polycarbonate composition is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 50 to 90 parts of polycarbonate resin, 5 to 20 parts of polytetrahydrofuran, 0.5 to 0.5 part of benzophenone, 0.1 to 1 part of an anti-oxidant and 0.1 to 1 part of a lubricant. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing polytetrahydrofuran with benzophenone and allowing the obtained mixture to enter an extruder so as to prepare polytetrahydrofuran weather-proof master batch; adding the master batch, the polycarbonate resin, the anti-oxidant and the lubricant into a mixer for mixing; and subjecting a mixture obtained in the previous step to blending and granulation by a double screw extruder and carrying out melt extrusion and granulation so as to obtain the weather-proof polycarbonate composition. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantage: the weather-proof polycarbonate composition can protect polycarbonate at a characteristic wave band, thereby improving weatherability.
