Problems solved by technology

The coatings made of effect pigments in solvent-based paint inks have been widely recognized by everyone. However, since there is no alignment agent for water-based effect pigments, the pearlescent pigments and aluminum powder pigments in water-based imitation metal coatings are distributed in the paint in a disorderly manner. The reflection of light reduces the metallic feeling, which is not as good as the metallic feeling of solvent-based imitation metal coatings, so

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of directional arraying agents, specifically to a directional arraying agent for a waterborne effect pigment, and a preparation method and application thereof. The directional arraying agent for the waterborne effect pigment comprises the following raw materials by weight: 10 to 50 parts of monomer, 1 to 10 parts of an emulsifier, 0.5 to 5 parts of an initiator and 50 to 100 parts of deionized water. The preparation method comprises a first step of emulsifying the monomer, the emulsifier, the initiator and deionized water in a reaction vessel and a second step of carrying out free radical polymerization so as to obtain the directional arraying agent for the effect pigment. The waterborne directional arraying agent has zero VOC discharge; the waterborne effect pigment can be directionally arrayed in paint and presents strong metal sensation; and the preparation method is simple in process and favorable for large-scale production. Excellent flashing effect can be obtained by only adding 0.2 to 3% of the directional arraying agent for the waterborne effect pigment into waterborne paint.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of aligning agents, in particular to a water-based effect pigment aligning agent and its preparation method and application. Background technique [0002] Facing the deteriorating environment, countries all over the world are highly concerned about environmental protection. At the end of the 20th century, foreign countries began to develop coating inks with low VOC content or even zero VOC content, and used water-based coatings and inks to replace existing processes and mature technologies. Petroleum solvent coatings and inks are the general trend. [0003] Driven by demand from fashion, automotive and other consumer markets, pigments that produce special effects (such as flop effects or decorative pattern effects) have increasing economic value and are widely used in various industrial products and end users. Promote apps. In terms of decorative applications, special effect pigments have the following thr...
