Abstract

The invention provides test paper for detecting the concentration range of an OPA (o-phthalaldehyde) disinfector. The test paper is manufactured from paper pulp subjected to oxidative modification, and the surface carboxyl group content of the paper pulp is controlled by adjusting modification conditions. The paper is processed step by step through a solution containing sodium sulfite and phenolphthalein, is dried and sheared, and is adhered to a baseplate to obtain the test paper. In a test, after contacting the disinfector for 90 seconds, the test paper becomes red uniformly, indicating that the concentration of OPA reaches a set value of the test paper, otherwise, the test paper does not change color uniformly or is colorless. According to the test paper, the surface carboxyl group content of fiber is controlled by modification of the paper pulp, and then a test card sensitive to different concentration ranges can be manufactured; color development is controlled by fiber modification and is more uniform and stable compared with color development obtained by controlling composition and concentration of a soak solution, thereby meeting the requirement of controlling the concentration of the OPA disinfector used for disinfecting medical instruments. The test paper is simple in operation, can ensure accurate results, and can be used for quickly and intuitively evaluating the disinfecting situation of the disinfector.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of chemical detection, in particular to a test paper for detecting the content of o-phthalaldehyde in an o-phthalaldehyde (OPA) disinfectant. Background technique [0002] The chemical preparations used to kill bacteria are called disinfectants. Ortho-phthalaldehyde is a high-level chemical disinfectant newly developed at home and abroad. It was approved by the US FDA in 1999. In order to ensure the effect of disinfection, it is required that the concentration of phthalaldehyde in the disinfectant should be greater than 0.3%. In practical applications, the concentration range of phthalaldehyde in the disinfectant should be routinely and quickly detected to avoid the concentration drop due to storage or prolonged use and fail. [0003] At present, there are mainly titration methods, ultraviolet spectrophotometry and high performance liquid chromatography for the detection of o-phthalaldehyde content. The titration me...
