Abstract

The invention discloses handmade soap and a preparation method thereof. The handmade soap is prepared from 3.5-7.0% of sodium hydroxide, 3.0-7.5% of sodium carbonate, 0.5-3.5% of a plant extract, 66.0-78.0% of plant oil and 15.0-20.0% of distilled water. Compared with conventional handmade soap, the handmade soap is rich in bubble and good in washing property; a part of strong base is replaced by sodium carbonate after sodium hydroxide and the above raw materials are subjected to a saponification reaction, so that liquid soap can be kept under a weak base condition after the plant extract is added, beneficial components such as plant volatile essential oil, flavones or polyphenol added in the soap are not damaged, effective components of the added plant extract are relatively slightly damaged, and the effects of beautifying and whitening, preventing oxidation and moistening skin, of the plant extract, can be brought into relatively good play.
