The electrically driven artificial muscle is based on liquid metal and comprises liquid metal flexible electrodes capable of being sprayed or printed, electroactive polymer materials and flexible packaging materials; the liquid metal flexible electrodes are arranged on the surfaces of the electroactive polymer materials and include the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and the liquid metal flexible electrodes and the electroactive polymer materials are wrapped with the flexible packaging materials, so that the liquid metal flexible electrodes are protected. The electrically driven artificial muscle can bend or deform in other modes under the effect of an extra electric field; compared with an existing artificial muscle structure made of platinum or golden materials, the process steps of the scheme provided by the invention are fewer, cost is lower, and no dangerous compound is needed; and the electrically driven artificial muscle has broad application in the fields of medical instrument designing, industrial product manufacturing, robot and the like.
