The circuit of the 77GHz power amplifier applied to an automotive radar system mainly comprises four stages of gain amplifiers and the matching networks; the matching networks comprise an input matching network connected to the input end of the gain amplifier, an inter-stage matching network between the adjacent stages of the four stages of gain amplifiers and an output matching network connected with the output of the gain amplifier; all of the four stages of gain amplifiers are class AB differential power amplifiers, and the output of each power amplifier is directly connected with the differential antenna without the transfer of the on-chip balun so as to save the chip area; and the matching mode of the matching networks is that the transmission line matches the MIM capacitor. According to the invention, the class AB differential power amplifier structure is adopted by the power amplifier circuit, the chip area is saved, the return loss is less than -15dB, the total gain of the circuit is 15dB, the 1dB compression power is 15dBm, and the PAE reaches 15%; therefore, the 77GHz power amplifier applied to an automotive radar system is a power amplifier with full integration, high linearity, low cost, small size and good consistency.
