The invention discloses a method using a composite fertilizer to control potato epidemic diseases and applications; the composite fertilizer comprises a plant-growth regulator and improved particle lime nitrogen; the plant-growth regulator comprises the following ingredients by mass percent: cyanamide 50-53%, dicyandiamide 2.5-3.5%, sodium phosphate 2.1-2.9%, and balance water, wherein pH value is 4.5-4.8; the improved particle lime nitrogen comprises the following components by mass percent: silicon 0.47-1.4%, oxygen 7.17-11.41%, carbon 18.3-24.33%, aluminium 0.53-1.59%, calcium 39.34-50.26%, iron 0.14-0.7%, magnesium 0.18-0.6%, and nitrogen 18.46-23.01%; the method applies 10-15kg / mu of the improved particle lime nitrogen; in seed soaking, the potato seeds are immersed by the 600-1200 times liquid plant-growth regulator; the method can obviously promote the potato to grow, yield increasing effect is substantial, and yield increasing rate can reach 17.64%; the composite fertilizer provides certain control effects for potato plant early blight, late blight and rot potato disease; in the whole growth period after the composite fertilizer is applied, the potato is good in growth vigor, safe, and no abnormity is spotted, so the method can be promoted and applied in production.
