Abstract

The invention discloses heavy metal chelating resin and a preparation method thereof. The heavy metal chelating resin has a structure shown by formula (I), wherein the M group is selected from C1-C20 alkylene, C-C20 arylidene, or C1-C20 alkylene or C-C20 arylidene having at least one carbon atom hybridized by S, O or N, and the L group is used for chelating with heavy metal atoms. Halogenated phenyl can realize oxidative addition reaction with zero-valent heavy metal, so that the zero-valent heavy metal is oxidized into heavy metal ions; and the heavy metal ions can be bonded with halogen atoms.
