Abstract

The invention relates to the field of bioinformatics, and aims to provide a computing system and acceleration platform for reconfigurable gene alignment. The computing system for the reconfigurable genetic alignment includes at least one computation module, a first interconnection module and a management module, wherein the computation modules are used for acquiring genetic alignment sub-tasks and processing the genetic alignment sub-tasks, and the genetic alignment sub-tasks are acquired by dividing a genetic alignment task; the first interconnection module is used for retrieving the results of the genetic alignment sub-tasks which are processed by all the computation modules when all the computation modules complete the genetic alignment sub-tasks, and the management module is connected to the computation modules and an interconnection device and used for monitoring the running status of the computation modules and a first interconnection module. According to the computing system and acceleration platform for the reconfigurable gene alignment, parallel processing is conducted on the genetic alignment sub-task by at least one computation module, and meanwhile the results of the genetic alignment sub-tasks which are processed by all the computation modules are retrieved by the first interconnection module so as to achieve the purpose of decentralized processing and centralized management, and thus the calculation efficiency of the gene alignment is further improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of bioinformatics, in particular to a reconfigurable gene comparison computing system and an acceleration platform. Background technique [0002] In 1953, Watson and Crick published the famous DNA double helix structure, which opened a new chapter in life science and ushered in a new era of science and technology. On the other hand, with the rapid development of computer science, a new subject is gradually jumping into people's field of vision and has received widespread attention, that is, the interdisciplinary subject of life science and computer science - bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is a powerful new technology, information technology and computing technology used to analyze, store and search massive biomedical data. On the other hand, bioinformatics is a new method and new way of thinking to study life science problems. It is a research method that starts from the whole genome, starts from the system...
