Abstract

The invention provides ointment containing lamiophlomis rotata as an authentic Tibetan herbal medicine as well as a preparation method and an application of the ointment. The ointment in the formula comprises components as follows: 20%-30% of total iridoid glycoside powder of lamiophlomis rotata, 0.45%-0.55% of camphor, 0.01%-0.05% of borneol, 23%-26% of octadecanol, 20%-25% of albolene, 16%-18% of liquid paraffin, 2.0%-3.0% of sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), 0.2%-0.3% of ethyl parahydroxybenzoate and a quantity of citronella oil, glycerin and water. The preparation method comprises steps as follows: octadecanol, albolene and liquid paraffin are mixed uniformly and heated to 70-80 DEG C to be molten; ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, SLS, glycerin and water are taken, mixed uniformly and heated to the same temperature, oil phase is added to aqueous phase, the components are stirred until the components are completely emulsified, a mixture is cooled, and a substrate is obtained; the total iridoidglycoside powder of lamiophlomis rotata is weighed, put in a mortar and finely ground, the powder is mixed with camphor, borneol, the citronella oil and the substrate, the mixture is ground uniformly, and the ointment is obtained.
