Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method and application of ferroaluminum-modified chitosan. A chitosan adsorbent is prepared through modification by AlCl3 and FeCl3 and is used for treating dye wastewater. According to the invention, optimal process parameters for removing methylene blue from the wastewater by using AlCl3-CTS-FeCl3 are obtained by investigating the influence of the dosage ofAlCl3-CTS-FeCl3, the pH value of the wastewater, reaction time, the initial concentration of the wastewater and the like on the treatment effect of the methylene blue wastewater; i.e., under the conditions that the dosage of AlCl3-CTS-FeCl3 is 0.05 g / L and the pH value is 9, a decolorization rate is as high as 98.6% and the methylene blue adsorption capacity of AlCl3-CTS-FeCl3 is up to 197.2 mg / g after treatment with AlCl3-CTS-FeCl3 for 45 min.
