Abstract

A method for improving compatibility of a stilbene-based biphenyl whitening agent and PP (polypropylene) plastic is as follows: 0.005-0.020 part of the stilbene-based biphenyl whitening agent is dissolved in a very small amount of solvent to obtain a whitening agent solution; the whitening agent solution is mixed with 1 part of stearic acid, 1 part of paraffin, 80-120 parts of PP (polypropylene) and 8-12 parts of PP-g-MAH to obtain a mixed material; the solvent of the PP plastic mixed material is evaporated; and thermoplastic molding is performed to obtain whitened PP plastic.
