Abstract

The invention discloses a lithium extraction process for a spodumene magnetic material by a sulfuric acid method. The process comprises the following steps: I, putting the spodumene magnetic materialin a rotary kiln to be roasted at a high temperature and then naturally cooling and grinding the spodumene magnetic material into particles; II, screening iron powder by a magnetic separator and storing residual clinker; III, adding concentrated sulfuric acid into the clinker to be uniformly mixed, carrying out acidified roasting, adding calcium oxide into the mixture to leach a roasted product after dissolving the roasted product in a stirring tank out, and separating and washing the roasted product to obtain a lithium sulfate solution; IV, adding a sodium hydroxide saturated solution into the lithium sulfate solution, adjusting the ph, and carrying out precipitation and filtration to obtain a pure lithium hydroxide solution; V, evaporating and concentrating the pure lithium hydroxide solution to obtain a lithium hydroxide solution, the concentration of which is 20%, and then adding a sodium carbonate solution to obtain a lithium carbonate precipitate; and VI, filtering and washing the lithium carbonate precipitate and drying the lithium carbonate precipitate in vacuum to obtain a lithium carbonate product.
