Abstract

The invention discloses a low-structural depth-to-width ratio dual-mode rectangular waveguide filter and a multi-order filter member thereof; the filter comprises a body, at least two first inductancecoupling diaphragms, two sets of second inductance coupling diaphragms and two waveguide interfaces. Two openings are respectively formed in two opposite sides of the body, and two dual-mode resonantcavities communicating with each other are formed in the body. The first inductance coupling diaphragms are disposed between the two dual-mode resonant cavities so as to form a first channel which communicates with the two dual-mode resonant cavities. The two sets of second inductance coupling diaphragms are respectively arranged in the two openings, and two second channels which respectively communicate with the two dual-mode resonant cavities are formed. The two waveguide interfaces correspond to the two sets of second inductance coupling diaphragms respectively, and each waveguide interface is covered on the corresponding opening through a corresponding second inductance coupling diaphragm. According to the filter and the multi-order filter member in the invention, the depth-to-width ratio of the whole filter structure is effectively reduced, the out-of-band rejection capability of the filter is greatly improved, and a transmission zero point can be introduced outside the band.
