Abstract

The invention discloses application of a cyclodextrin metal-organic framework carbon material in water treatment and fertilizer slow release. A precursor to the carbon material herein is a beta-cyclodextrin metal-organic framework (beta CD MOF) made by subjecting beta-cyclodextrin and potassium benzoate to reaction, and the beta-cyclodextrin metal-organic framework is subjected to sintering at a high temperature under nitrogen protection to obtain the cyclodextrin metal-organic framework carbon material. The cyclodextrin metal-organic framework carbon material has rich pore structure, rich active sites to act with herbicide molecules and rich potassium; therefore, the cyclodextrin metal-organic framework carbon material may act as a multifunctional environmental material to remove herbicides in water and act as a slow-release potassium fertilizer; a novel economic effective strategy to solve pesticide residue and overuse of chemical fertilizers is provided.
