The invention is characterized in that the novel ceramic glaze is an aqueous glazewhich has permeability and is prepared from chromogenic soluble inorganic metal salt, a solvent and a regulating aid; the ceramic glaze is printed by a ceramic surface decoration mode onto a ceramic tile body which has been applied with the ground coat and the overglaze, then sprayed with water to promote the permeation, and finally fired in a roller kiln at the firing temperature of 1080-1200 DEGC for the firing period of 40-85 minutes. The novel ceramic glaze is suitable for ceramic surface decoration, and a chemical reaction between various salts and glaze is utilized for coloring. The method has the following advantages: the cost can be reduced by about 20% in comparison with cost of foreign imports, and the novel ceramic glaze can completely replace imports and has broad market economic benefits; the adjustability and controllability in the production and application process are improved; and patterns of the product are more abundant and diversified and have a strong layered andthree-dimensional sense.
