Abstract

The invention discloses a hyperbranched emulsifier and a preparation method thereof. The hyperbranched emulsifier is prepared from 100 parts by weight of a long-chain polyol, 10-50 parts by weight ofa polyfunctional modifier, 30-100 parts by weight of an epoxy compound and 2-5 parts by weight of a catalyst. Different from a traditional emulsifier, the emulsifier synthesized has a hyperbranched network structure, a main chain has good hydrophilicity to ensure the stretching of a polymer chain in water, and an end group of the modified emulsifier has epoxy or other polar groups to achieve goodcoating and dispersion of epoxy droplets. A large number of holes are formed in the hyperbranched structure of the emulsifier, and the addition in the epoxy resin can reduce the viscosity of a system,which is advantageous for reducing the particle size of an emulsion during the phase transformation to improve the wetting of a carbon fiber surface by a sizing agent.
