Abstract
The invention discloses a method and device for depositing a diamond coating layer on a drawing die. The drawing die to be machined is placed in a die lining assembly; the die lining assembly is placed at the middle part of a vacuum chamber; a plasma torch is arranged above the die lining assembly; the radial area of a plasma jet is greater than the area of an inner hole of the drawing die to be machined; the plasma jet is enabled to penetrate through the inner hole of the drawing die in a deposition process; and the diamond coating layer with uniform thickness and particle size is prepared onthe inner wall of the drawing die. The method and device for depositing the diamond coating layer on the drawing die are capable of realizing preparation for the diamond coating layer with uniform thickness and particle size on the inner wall of the die with an irregular hole pattern. The method and device are stable in technical process, and unlimited by the hole pattern and the hole diameter ofthe die; the prepared drawing die with the diamond coating layer is long in service life, and the diamond coating layer is high in purity; and unique advantages are achieved in the aspects of lowering the production cost, improving and the product quality, and in particularly, preparing the drawing die with a large hole diameter and irregular holes.
