The method and device for depositing the diamond coating layer on the drawing die are capable of realizing preparation for the diamond coating layer with uniform thickness and particle size on the inner wall of the die with an irregular hole pattern. The method and device are stable in technical process, and unlimited by the hole pattern and the hole diameter ofthe die; the prepared drawing die with the diamond coating layer is long in service life, and the diamond coating layer is high in purity; and unique advantages are achieved in the aspects of lowering the production cost, improving and the product quality, and in particularly, preparing the drawing die with a large hole diameter and irregular holes.
