Abstract

A sodium hydroxide-chloroacetic acid method is adopted for carboxymethylation modification, the obtained carboxymethylation xylan is used for probiotic culture, an OD value and a pH value are taken as indexes, the effect of the carboxymethylation xylan with the different concentration on in-vitro proliferation of probiotics (lactobacillus delbrueckii subspecies bulgaricus and lactobacillus brevis) is inspected, results show that the carboxymethylation xylan subjected to carboxymethylation modification by using the sodium hydroxide-chloroacetic acid method has the significant effect of promoting in-vitro proliferation of the probiotics, and a basis is provided for development of the carboxymethylation xylan and research of prebiotics.
