The brown or black organic-inorganic complex with the water content of less than 20% is prepared by mixing biomass, a clay mineral material and water in a weight ratio of 1:(0.1-0.5):(5-15) based on dry basis weight of the biomass; putting the mixed material into a closed reaction kettle with a stirring function for heating and carbonizing; and after the reaction is finished, cooling the product, carrying out solid-liquid separation on the product in the reaction kettle, and drying the solid-phase product. The biomass material is any biomass material with the particle size smaller than 2 mm and the cellulose content larger than 10%; the clay mineral material is 2:1 type clay mineral montmorillonite or illite with the particle size smaller than 0.3 mm or a combination of montmorillonite and illite with the particle size smaller than 0.3mm in any proportion.
