The decomposition method comprises the following steps of: sorting and classifying household garbage, and collecting degradable household garbage; carrying out manual or mechanical sorting on sludge to remove insoluble impurities in garbage, including glass, plastics, metals, rubber, ceramics and the like, in the sludge;mixing the degradable household garbage with microorganism degrading bacteria and the sorted sludge, carrying out biodegradation fermentation to obtain feed for earthworms to eat; adding the artificially bred earthworms into organic maters in each ton of garbage; after 30 days, effectively absorbing the organic matters in the garbage by the earthworms so as to bring potassium-phosphorous fertilizers to the organic matters; after 30 days, effectively separating the earthworms from wormcast; and adopting the wormcast for manufacturing organic fertilizers which are used for planning flowers and grass and used for landscaping. By use of the decomposition method, municipal garbage can be effectively decomposed, municipal pollution is reduced, a soil structure is improved, a reliable environmentally-friendly fertilizer is provided so as to benefit all mankind, environment is improved, renewable resources are provided, and the decomposition method has a wide purpose.
