According to the self-contained type biological indicator container disclosed by the invention, both of a biological indicator carrier and a culture medium are sealed in the container and are isolated from the outside, so that external pollution is completely and effectively avoided; and in addition, the upper cavity body is arranged close to the upper part ofthe container, and a cavity body for storing the biological indicator carrier is formed by the upper cavity body and the upper end cover, so that disinfection and sterilization are conveniently carried out; and cooperation of the biological indicator carrier and the culture medium only requires pressing and rotation of the upper end cover.
