Abstract

The invention discloses a cell surface modification method. The method comprises the following steps of obtaining a cell suspension; centrifuging the suspension to form agglomerated cells; resuspending the obtained agglomerated cells by using a ClO2 solution; culturing for 0.1 to 120 minutes at room temperature; and washing with ddH2O to obtain the modified cell. The cells obtained by the modification method have high metal ion adsorption capacity, high mechanical stability and very strong NaOH cracking resistance.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of cell surface modification, in particular to a method for cell surface modification. Background technique [0002] Dyes and heavy metals are common pollutants in industrial wastewater, many of which are toxic and carcinogenic. Therefore, effective and thorough approaches to remediate wastewater contaminated with dyes and metals are urgently needed. Among the many technologies used to treat industrial dye and metal polluted wastewater, biosorption has become a favorable biological treatment method due to its environmental protection, good performance, low cost and containing a large amount of effective biomass. [0003] Many native microorganisms have been reported to be able to accumulate dyes or metals. However, further studies have shown that the adsorption capacity of cells can be improved by pretreatment of cell biomass with surface group modification. (Vijayaraghavan, K.; Yun, Y.S. Bacter...
