Embodiment 1

[0044] Inhibitory effect of β-cineole on Amaranth and Poa annua in Petri dishes:

[0045] Prepare β-eucalyptol with distilled water to form β-eucalyptol aqueous solutions with concentrations of 0.25 mg / mL, 0.5 mg / mL, 1 mg / mL, 2 mg / mL and 5 mg / mL;

[0046] According to the preparation of aqueous solutions of β-eucalyptol at various concentrations, select petri dishes with a diameter of 9 cm, place filter paper in each petri dish, and add 60 amaranth or bluegrass seeds, and then add 5 ml of them at a concentration of 5 mg / mL , 2mg / mL, 1mg / mL, 0.5mg / mL and 0.25mg / mL β-eucalyptol solutions, each repeated treatment twice, and used as a blank control of distilled water; after sealing each culture dish with a parafilm , placed in a 25°C incubator for 7 days in the dark to measure the seedling height and root length of the seedlings; the commercial herbicide glyphosate was used as a positive control;

[0047] Data statistics method: first calculate the inhibition rate of the root len...

Embodiment 2

[0052] In the field, the poisonous effect of β-cineole on healthy Amaranth and bluegrass growing in the field:

[0053] Prepare β-eucalyptol with distilled water into an aqueous solution of β-eucalyptol with a concentration of 10 mg / mL, put the solution in a watering can and mark it;

[0054] When the wild Amaranth and Poa annua seedlings grow to 10cm, spray the prepared aqueous solution of β-cineole with a concentration of 10mg / mL. The plant condition of Amaranth and Poa annua in the field;

[0055] Results: Amaranth and bluegrass sprayed with a concentration of 10mg / mL β-cineole aqueous solution showed a withered state after 1 day, and died after 2 days. For the effect, see the attached Figure 7 and Figure 8 ;

[0056] in conclusion:

[0057] The use of the β-eucalyptol described in the present invention in the preparation of herbicides has obvious inhibitory and poisonous effects on weeds Amaranthus retroflexus and Poa annua, and the dosage is extremely low, which can...

Abstract

The invention relates to application of beta-eudesmol in preparation of herbicides. Beta-eudesmol is prepared into a low-concentration aqueous solution with distilled water, amaranthus retroflexus andbluegrass seeds are cultured in a culture dish, and results show that beta-eudesmol significantly inhibits growth of amaranthus retroflexus and bluegrass. In a field experiment, beta-eudesmol is selected to prepare an aqueous solution with distilled water, the aqueous solution is sprayed to wild amaranthus retroflexus and bluegrass seedlings, and the result shows that the amaranthus retroflexus and bluegrass seedlings sprayed with beta-eudesmol wither and gradually die after one day, which indicates that beta-eudesmol can effectively kill weeds amaranthus retroflexus and bluegrass. Beta-eudesmol exists in various plants as a natural product, can be extracted from various plants, can be obtained in quantity in a chemical synthesis manner, can be degraded in nature, is non-toxic and harmless, and is low in dosage and strong in effect if being used as a herbicide, so that the compound has the potential of being developed into an environment-friendly commercial herbicide.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the control effect of a compound on weeds, in particular to the application of β-eucalyptol as a herbicide in the control of weeds. Background technique [0002] Weeds are considered to be the enemy of crop production, interfering with crop function and inhibiting crop growth and development. The crop loss caused by weeds is often greater than the losses caused by pests and diseases. In recent decades, chemically synthesized herbicides have been mostly used in agricultural production to control weeds. However, most chemically synthesized herbicides are not easy to be decomposed by microorganisms, and remain in the soil for a long time, which will reduce soil fertility and pollute groundwater sources, thus posing a serious threat to humans and the environment. In addition, weeds can develop resistance to chemical herbicides, making weed control increasingly difficult in the future. In this context, some scientists have propos...
