[0030] Effects of Experimental Example 1 Different Initiators on the Vitality of Mule 8000 Seeds

[0031] Experimental group 1: PEG treatment group: Mix PEG of different qualities with water to obtain 5 kinds of polyethylene glycol initiators, with mass fractions of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% respectively; select the same size , Healthy Mule seeds were soaked in the triggering solution for 24 hours in the dark at 22°C to obtain primed seeds, and unprimed seeds were used as a control. After the initiation, the seeds were taken out, washed with running water, dried on the surface of the seeds, and placed at room temperature to return to the original weight, and then the germination test was carried out.

[0032] Experimental group 2: SA treatment group: Mix different quality SA with water to get 5 kinds of salicylic acid initiators, the concentrations are 50mg·L -1 , 100mg·L -1 , 150mg·L -1 , 200mg·L -1 , 250mg·L -1 ; Others are the same as the experimental group 1.

Abstract

The invention discloses a seed initiator for improving vigor and drought resistance of sweet sorghum seeds. The seed initiator is a combination of any one of salicylic acid, abscisic acid and gibberellin and polyethylene glycol. In the seed initiator, the mass fraction of polyethylene glycol is 5-25%, the concentration of salicylic acid is 50-250 mg.L<-1>, the concentration of abscisic acid is 10-50 mg.L<-1>, and the concentration of gibberellin is 5-25 mg.L<-1>. The germination index and the vigor index of seeds treated by the seed initiator are improved to different extents. The initiator provided by the invention can improve the germination vigor and drought resistance of sorghum seeds by treating the sorghum seeds, and a method for cultivation and planting of sweet sorghum under drought stress is provided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a seed initiator, in particular to a seed initiator for improving the vigor and drought resistance of sweet sorghum seeds. Background technique [0002] Sweet sorghum (Sorghum dochna (Forssk.) Snowden) is an annual plant of Gramineae, with thick stalks, 2-4 meters high, juicy and sweet. Sweet sorghum has great application value, and its stalks have high sugar content, which can be used as sugar extraction material to become a potential food industry raw material source, and can also be used as poultry feed, biofuel, and fiber extraction material. However, the sugar content in sweet sorghum plants is easily affected by its cultivation conditions. Current abiotic stress droughts cause at least 50% of crop production losses worldwide. Therefore, increasing the germination vigor and resistance of sweet sorghum is beneficial to its cultivation and application under adverse conditions. [0003] During the storage of seeds, due to ...
