Abstract

The invention provides a composite catalyst for catalytic ozonation and a preparation method thereof. The composite catalyst for catalytic ozonation comprises an active carrier and metal active components loaded on the active carrier, wherein the metal active components comprise a lanthanum compound and a cerium compound; the lanthanum compound accounts for 1%-5% of the mass of the active carrier in terms of a metal element; and the cerium compound accounts for 2-7% of the mass of the active carrier in terms of a metal element. The composite catalyst for catalytic ozonation and the preparation method thereof provided by the invention have the advantages that the composite catalyst for catalytic ozonation and the preparation method thereof are particularly suitable for catalytic ozonation treatment of sewage containing macromolecular organic matters; through the activity of the catalytic ozonation effects, chemical bonds with relatively weak bond energy in macromolecular organic matters in the sewage are broken, and substances with relatively small molecular weight are generated, so the structures of organic matters which are difficult to biodegrade are effectively changed, and the biodegradability of a water body is improved.
