High-temperature calcination enables in-situ reaction of tungsten oxide and carbon fiber to obtain a mixture of tungsten oxide, tungsten carbide, and carbon fiber without destroying the morphology of tungsten oxide and carbon fiber. High-strength tungsten carbide helps to increase the strength of ceramsite proppant and reduce the breakage rate. The invention discloses a preparation method of the ceramsite proppant, which is simple and helps to reduce the preparation cost.
