The invention discloses a novel functional wall cloth, which is prepared by the following steps: impregnating glass fiber cloth or a glass fiber mat into resin slurry, pre-curing, stacking with decorative paper and wear-resistant paper, and carrying out a hot-pressing process, wherein the resin slurry comprises 20-80% of water-soluble flexible polyurethane modified epoxy resin, 10-75% of an aluminum hydroxide filler, 0.1-3% of a coupling agent, 0.1-2% of a dispersing agent and 1-10% of a melamine intumescent flame retardant. Compared with the prior art, the wall cloth provided by the invention has fireproof performance reaching grade A, and is high in wear resistance, high in strength, mildew-proof, antibacterial and high in stain resistance.
