Embodiment

[0016] Example: such as Figure 1-Figure 5 As shown, a dual-frequency common-aperture VICTS phased array antenna includes a radiation layer 1, a parallel-plate waveguide layer 2, and a feed network layer 3 arranged in order from top to bottom. The feed network layer 3 is used to access external TE mode electromagnetic waves, and convert the received TE mode electromagnetic waves into TEM mode electromagnetic waves and output them to the parallel plate waveguide layer 2. The parallel plate waveguide layer 2 is used to transmit the TEM mode electromagnetic waves input into it to the radiation layer by means of air medium conduction 1. The radiation layer 1 is used to propagate the TEM mode electromagnetic wave transmitted thereto to free space;

[0017] The radiation layer 1 includes a first circular metal plate 4 and a radiation unit 5 arranged on the first circular metal plate 4, the radiation unit 5 includes two different types of CTS radiation branch groups, and the two diff...

Abstract

The invention discloses a dual-frequency common-caliber VICTS phased-array antenna. The antenna comprises a radiation layer, a parallel plate waveguide layer and a feed network layer which are sequentially arranged from top to bottom, the feed network layer is used for accessing external TE mode electromagnetic waves, converting the accessed TE mode electromagnetic waves into TEM mode electromagnetic waves and outputting the electromagnetic waves to the parallel plate waveguide layer, the parallel plate waveguide layer is used for transmitting the TEM mode electromagnetic waves input into the parallel plate waveguide layer to the radiation layer in an air medium conduction mode, and the radiation layer is used for transmitting the TEM mode electromagnetic waves transmitted to the radiation layer to a free space. The antenna has the advantages that: two frequency bands of a mobile satellite communication system can be covered at the same time, and the area, cost and power consumption of the mobile satellite communication system can be reduced when the antenna is used for the mobile satellite communication system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a VICTS phased array antenna, in particular to a dual-frequency common-aperture VICTS phased array antenna. Background technique [0002] The CTS (Continuous Transverse Stub) array antenna was first proposed by Raytheon Corporation of the United States in the 1990s, and a large number of planar antennas have been developed. As a further evolution of the CTS antenna array, VICTS (Variable inclination continuous transverse stub) technology is a two-dimensional beam scanning array that can achieve low profile, low power consumption, and strong mechanical robustness on the basis of inheriting the original high efficiency. [0003] The existing VICTS phased array antenna is mainly composed of an upper radiating CTS disk and a lower feeding network disk. The electric wave propagation between layers is conducted in the air medium, and the impedance loss is reduced to a minimum, so the radiation efficiency is greatly improved. improve...
