Embodiment Construction

[0014] [Example] 1. Chromite and iron ore are all powdered materials, the reducing agent is coke powder, and the flux is slaked lime and silica powder. The mass ratio is: 40-60% of chromite, 5-20% of iron ore, 8-15% of coke powder, 10-25% of slaked lime and 3-15% of silica powder.

[0015] The quality requirements for raw materials are:

[0016] Chromite: Cr 2 o 3 >40%, Al 2 o 3 / MgO>0.8, Particle size -1mm>90%;

[0017] Iron ore powder: TFe>50%, particle size -0.074mm part>40%;

[0018] Coke powder: fixed carbon ≥ 80%, volatile matter ≤ 5%, particle size -0.1mm part > 50%;

[0019] Slaked lime: CaO≥65%, SiO 2 50%;

[0020] Silica powder: SiO 2 >85%, Particle size -0.1mm >50%.

[0021] The powdered raw materials are weighed according to the requirements, mixed evenly, pressed into blocks or pelletized, dried and then reduced at high temperature. The reduction temperature is 1380°C-1480°C, the reduction time is 20-40min, and then cooled. The slag phase in the reduc...

Abstract

The present invention relates to the method of producing high carbon ferrochromium with solid carbon reductant. The materials including ferrochromium ore powder, iron ore powder, coal powder or coke, slaked lime, silica, etc. are first mixed, pressed into blocks or pellets and dried and then reduced at high temperature of 1350-1500 deg.c. The reduced product is pulverized naturally in the cooling course and sieved to obtain granulized ferrochromium separated from slag. The present invention has simple technological process, relaxed requirement of material, low power consumption, low production cost, environment friendship, capacity of eliminating partial sulfur and phosphorus and other advantages.

Description

1. Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to a production method of ferroalloy. In particular, it relates to a method for producing high-carbon ferrochrome with a solid carbonaceous reducing agent. 2. Background technology [0002] High-carbon ferrochromium is mainly used for smelting stainless steel in AOD, VOD, re-blowing converter, etc. At present, high-carbon ferrochrome is mainly smelted in submerged arc furnaces. In electric furnaces, high-quality coke is used as reducing agent for chromite, and electric energy is used as heat source to melt iron slag (G. Volkert, editor-in-chief of K.-D. Frank, Yu Translated by Hui and Gu Jingqing. Ferroalloy Metallurgy, Shanghai Science and Technology Press, 1978.10; by М.И. Gasik, Н.П. Rakishev, Б.И. Yemlin, translated by Zhang Feng, Yu Zhong, etc. Ferroalloy Production Theory and Technology, Metallurgical Industry Press, 1994.8). Although the process is relatively mature, the process is complicated, cannot be dephosphorize...
