Systems and methods of organizing a collection of objects are described. In one aspect, a sequence of objects is segmented into object clusters based on: comparisons of successive object intervals to weighted measures of cluster extent; and comparisons of successive object intervals to weighted measures of cluster object density. In another aspect, objects from the collection are segmented into clusters. Context-related meta data associated with the objects and parsable into multiple levels of a name hierarchy is extracted. Names are assigned to clusters based on the extracted context-related meta data corresponding to a level of the name hierarchy selected to distinguish segmented clusters from one another. In another aspect, a sequence of objects that are segmented into clusters is accessed. Each cluster includes multiple objects arranged in a respective sequence in accordance with context-related meta data associated with the objects. At least two constituent objects representative of beginning and ending instances in the corresponding object sequence are selected for each object cluster. A method and computer-readable medium for reducing artifacts in image data generated by a computed tomography system is provided. The artifacts are due to the presence of a high density object in a subject of interest. The method comprises receiving measured sinogram data from the computed tomography system. The sinogram data is representative of sinogram elements. The measured sinogram data is reconstructed to generate initial reconstructed image data. Then corrected sinogram data is generated using the measured sinogram data. The corrected sinogram data is iteratively reconstructed to generate an improved reconstructed image data based on a weight measure derived from the measured sinogram data.

The invention discloses a mixing apparatus capable of realizing dynamic metering and proportioning. The system is arranged on a river model; a sand sinking pit (21) which vertically stretches downwards from an upper surface of a river sub-model is arranged on the river sub-model of the river model; at least one sand collection hopper (22) is arranged along a cross section of the river sub-model on the sand sinking pit (21); a larger opening end of each sand collection hopper (22) faces upwards and a small opening end faces downwards; a sand carrying basket (23) penetrates through the sand collection hopper (22) through a hanging rope (25) and is suspended on a weight measuring mechanism (24); and the weight measuring mechanism (24) measures underwater weight of the sand carrying basket (23) in a no-load manner and the underwater weight of the sand carrying basket (23) and the overall sand in the basket at different moments so as to obtain the bed load silt discharge of the river model test. According to the embodiment of the system, the bed load silt discharge of the river model test can be measured rapidly accurately in real time, thereby providing an accurate data basis for river research.
