The invention relates to the technical field of
crop cultivation, in particular to a
loess plateau corn and wheat rotation planting method, and is applicable to recycling of
agricultural waste resources. According to the researched and developed rotation planting method of spring corn matched with
winter wheat, a
plant belt is used for cultivating plants, a non-planting belt is used for stacking and fermenting straws,
land utilization rate is greatly increased, the
decomposition time of the straws is prolonged to twelve months from original seven months, the
decomposition rate of the straws isgreatly increased,
soil fertility is increased by prolonging the
decomposition time of the straws, use of chemical fertilizers is decreased, and recycling of
straw agriculture waste resources is greatly improved. According to the researched and developed method, the applying amount of a
phosphate fertilizer can be reduced by 59%, the applying amount of a
nitrogen fertilizer can be reduced by 40%,the yield of the wheat and the corn is obviously increased, the contents of soil organic matters,
total nitrogen and rapidly available
potassium are obviously increased, and
soil fertility quality isimproved. Straws of the wheat and the corn are completely crushed and then returned to fields, the straws are effectively treated, and the possibility of environmental
pollution caused by
straw burning is completely avoided.
