According to the backlight module of the invention, the distribution density of the reflective sub-grating units corresponding to the first areas is greater than the distribution density of the transmissive sub-grating units corresponding to the first areas, so that most of emergent light is reflected to the position between the lamps; the distribution density of the reflective sub-grating units, corresponding to the second areas is smaller than the distribution density of the transmissive sub-grating units corresponding to the second areas, so that reflected light at the position between the lamps penetrates through the nano grating assembly; and thus, the effect of uniform light emitting of the whole face of the backlight module is achieved, and the light and thin design of the module is achieved.
