Abstract

The invention provides a conducting polymer intercalary hydrotalcite and its process for preparing, which belongs to the domain of organic - inorganic composite and its process for preparing. The conducting polymer intercalary hydrotalcite obtained by this invention has a supermolecular structure, the chemical formula of which is: (M2+)1-x(M3+)x(OH)2(CP)a. The process for preparing consists of first preparing nitrate radical hydrotalcite precursor used for ion exchange, then interposing the conducting polymer monomer with the hydrophilic side group and polymerized unit into the hydrotalcite interbed by an ion exchange process, finally, annealing the obtained mixtures in nitrogen atmosphere at the temperature of 280-320 DEG C for 10-30 minutes and obtaining the conducting polymer intercalary hydrotalcite. It is excellent in that it has carried out cointercalation between polymeric monomer and nitrate ion with stronger oxidability in hydrotalcite interlamination and prepared a pure onducting polymer intercalary hydrotalcite organic - inorganic composite by heat treatment of inert atmosphere.
