Abstract

The invention relates to feed additive which reduces the cholesterol content of a quail egg. The cholesterol content in a poultry egg yolk is high, so excessive consumption of the poultry egg is prone to hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The quail egg is a high-quality poultry egg, with the moisture and fat content significantly lower than an egg, and has the characteristics of the high-protein low-fat fine nutrient matter, however, the cholesterol content of a quail egg is 1.5 times of an egg. In light of reducing the cholesterol content of the quail egg effectively and meanwhile maintaining the other positive qualities of the quail egg, the applicant has developed feed additive which reduces the cholesterol content of the quail egg with Monacolin K high-content red koji as the raw material. The invention is feed additive which reduces the cholesterol content of the quail egg, and has an ingredient of red koji with Monacolin K content of 0.4 percent, citrinin content of less than 0.1 mg per kg and gamma-aminobutyric acid content of more than 0.2 mg per kg.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a feed additive capable of reducing the cholesterol content of quail eggs. Background technique [0002] Cholesterol in the human body comes from two aspects: endogenous synthesis and exogenous absorption. Endogenous cholesterol is mainly synthesized in the liver, about 1g per day, accounting for 70%-80% of the total cholesterol synthesis in the body. Exogenous cholesterol is absorbed from food through the digestive tract, and the amount absorbed is affected by the diet structure. Moderate control of exogenous cholesterol intake is of great significance to the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. [0003] Poultry eggs are rich in nutrition, but egg yolk contains a lot of cholesterol, which is one of the important sources of exogenous cholesterol. Quail eggs are high-quality poultry eggs. Their water and fat contents are significantly lower than those of ...
