Problems solved by technology

Patent US4800187 uses in-situ synthesis technology to synthesize a variety of zeolites on the surface of honeycomb ceramics. Patent US4904518 hydrothermally synthesizes ZSM-5, ZSM-11 and other zeolites on the surface of silicon wafers. The growth is very uneven, so the patent CN99112822 proposes to dip-coat a layer containing Al on the cordierite ceramics. 2 o 3 , SiO 2 and Na 2 The O gel solution is then loaded and synthesized, using a series of chemical reactions that occur during the dip coating process, which can make the carrier surface and the zeolite layer bonded very firmly.
Its series of patents 99120818 used the same method to synthesize ferrierite on cordierite; the problem brought about by this method is that the dipping coating introduces new substances as part of the raw materials for zeolite synthesis and participates in the synthesis process, resulting in harsh synthesis conditions. Not conducive to the synthesis of zeolite

Embodiment 1

[0014] Treat cordierite with a volume of 5ml in an oxalic acid solution with a mass concentration of 50% at 80°C for 6 hours, wash with deionized water until neutral, and then put it in a sodium hydroxide solution with a mass concentration of 10% at 80°C After being treated for 5 hours, dry at 120°C after washing, and then put it into the MCM-22 synthetic liquid. The molar ratio of each component in the MCM-22 synthetic liquid is SiO 2 :Al 2 o 3 :Na 2 O:HMI:H 2 O=1:0.33:0.1:0.35:20, the silicon source used is silica gel, and the aluminum source is sodium metaaluminate. Crystallization at 140°C for 72 hours. Take out the treated cordierite, dry it at 120°C for 12 hours, bake it at 540°C for 10 hours, and ultrasonically clean it for 20 minutes. The XRD characterization results are shown in figure 1 , indicating that MCM-22 zeolite is loaded and synthesized on the carrier, electron microscopy results (see figure 2 ) shows that a layer of MCM-22 zeolite is firmly loaded on ...

Embodiment 2

[0016] The carrier treatment process and load synthesis process are the same as in Example 1, using citric acid with a concentration of 60%, the treatment temperature is 70° C., and the treatment time is 10 hours. The silicon source used is tetraethyl orthosilicate, and the XRD result shows that the loaded zeolite is MCM-22 zeolite, and the loading amount is 40%.

Embodiment 3

[0018] The carrier treatment process and the loading synthesis process are the same as in Example 1, and the molar ratio of each component of the MCM-22 synthesis solution is SiO 2 :Al 2 o 3 :Na 2 O:HMI:H 2 O=1:0.25:0.12:0.35:20, XRD results show that the loaded zeolite is MCM-22 and some mordenite impurities.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for in-situ synthesis of zeolite on a cordierite carrier, which comprises the following steps: performing acidizing on cordierite by acid; processing the cordierite by alkali; and synthesizing in MCM-22 synthetic fluid at high temperature and high pressure. The method of the invention performs combined treatment on the cordierite by the acid and the alkali, not onlycan increase the external surface area of the cordierite, but also can form a great deal of -OH in the zeolite synthetic fluid, contributes to MCM-22 load synthesis, and has simplicity, easy grasp and easy control of synthetic conditions; and the obtained loaded zeolite has firm combination.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for loading synthetic zeolite, in particular to a method for synthesizing MCM-22 zeolite on a cordierite ceramic carrier. Background technique [0002] Supported zeolites (zeolite membranes on supports) have important applications in catalysis science and separation science. For example, membrane reactors used in petrochemical separation processes and monolithic catalytic converters used to purify automobile exhaust both utilize zeolites loaded on different carriers. Generally, there are two methods for loading zeolite: one is to immerse the carrier in a slurry containing zeolite, so that a layer of zeolite is loaded on the surface of the carrier, which is called the loading method. This method is simple to operate, but it will cause the zeolite coating layer and the surface of the carrier to be weakly bonded. , the zeolite layer is easy to peel off. Another method is called in-situ loading synthesis technology, that...
