Embodiment Construction
[0021] The present invention is further illustrated below by means of embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
[0022] 1) Take 5 mmol of iron oxide and 5.1 mmol of bismuth oxide, add 50 mmol of tartaric acid, grind in a mortar for 5 min, and transfer to a crucible.
[0023] 2) Put the crucible into the heating mantle, heat it to 250°C, and the mixture starts to burn.
[0024] 3) Naturally cool to room temperature after combustion is complete, take it out and wash it with 2.5mol / L dilute nitric acid to obtain pure phase BiFeO 3 .

Abstract
The invention relates to ferromagnetic bismuth ferrite and the synthesis method thereof, the material related is a multi-frruginous material. The invention provides ferromagnetic bismuth ferrite with ferromagnetism at room temperature and a synthesis method thereof. Ferromagnetic bismuth ferrite is a red power with the chemical formula BiFeO3. It has ferroelectric and ferromagnetic nature at roomtemperature. Ferric oxide and bismuth oxide are placed into tartaric acid or other carbohydrates and grinded into mixture. The mixture is heated to cause combustion and bismuth ferrite can be obtained after the complete combustion of the mixture. The bismuth ferrite is then expurgated of the unreacted ferric oxide and bismuth oxide by rinsing until a neutral environment. The rinsed bismuth ferrite is then parched to obtain ferromagnetic bismuth ferrite. The ferromagnetic bismuth ferrite obtained has ferroelectric and ferromagnetic nature at room temperature. The method of the invention improves the solid-phase synthesis and simplifies the steps and does not require high-energy grinding. The reaction temperature is also greatly lowered than the traditional solid-phase synthesis by the method and thus saves energy. The duration of the reaction is relatively short, with the whole reaction process shorter than 10 minutes, and thus the efficiency is enhanced. The synthesis method of the invention does not require complicated equipments or high-energy ball mill or high temperature furnace.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to a multiferroic material, in particular to a ferromagnetic bismuth ferrite and a synthesis method thereof. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of information technology and the miniaturization and multifunctionalization of devices, people's research interest in multifunctional materials with both current collecting and magnetic properties is constantly increasing. Multiferroic materials not only possess a variety of single ferroics (such as ferroelectricity, ferromagnetism, and ferroelasticity), but also can produce some new functions through ferroic coupling and synergy, which greatly broadens the application range of ferroic materials. Therefore, it has received widespread attention. Bismuth ferrite is currently the only material with multiferroic properties at room temperature. It can be used as non-lead ferroelectric materials, electromagnetic conversion devices, information recording materials and...
